Women's History/ Black History Memory Boards
At Newark Tech, the Visual and Performing Arts department was able to combine a celebration of Black History Month and Women's History Month into a creative production. "Songs of Liberation and the Black Experience" was a filmed presentation, and concert performance by the senior Terriers at Essex County College. The celebration of Women and Black History was a collaborative effort of the visual and performing arts and history departments. Classrooms participated in these events, by decorating the halls with creative bulletin boards.
