Male Empowerment : XBox 2k Basketball Tournament Grades 9-12
The Male Empowerment segment of Newark Tech continues to bring together young men. Recently the club organized a tournament for grades 9-12 surrounding XBOX Basketball Tournament. The teens are working together by grade levels. The tournmante is ongoing with the final rounds still to occur. Teamwork concentration, critical skills are being enhanced in this afterschool project. Enthusiam is extremely high. The team leader David Avalo is energetic in this new endeavor under the leadership of Mr. Rasheed.
