"I have enjoyed the environment so far, everyone is friendly and caring."

2. How long have you been working in the capacity of an administrative assistant
? "I have been working for Central Office as an Administrative Assistant for 8 years."

3. Is this a new role?
"Although I have the same title, administrative assistant, the position is totally different. In the past, I did purchasing, accounts payable, human resources, transportation, special services."

4. How is it different from your other role in the district?
"The main difference is that Central Office is not around students."

5 What are your feelings about working in the busy front office?
"So far I have enjoyed working here since my co-workers are very accommodating."

6. Did you plan to follow your current career path?"
I did not plan it but I am grateful for the opportunity and new learning."

"I feel grateful and honored to be part of the Newark Tech environment.
I enjoy working with students and helping them succeed."
2. How long have you been teaching or a paraprofessional?
​
"This is my first year as a bilingual teacher aide."
3. What are your feelings about teaching?
​
"I feel that a teacher is an important part in a student’s life. As a paraprofessional, I'm proud to assist and teach students in a variety of subjects. I want to make sure they have a successful education."
4. What do you consider the role of a teacher?
​
"The role of a teacher is to set a good example, give guidance, rules, and lessons for our future students in order to lead them into a better direction. A teacher’s role is to make sure students have a strong academic foundation. Teachers want to help make a difference in our students’ lives by helping them achieve success."
